Draft for review. This structure is provided as a starting point and must be reviewed, completed and approved by RED SEA SUN & SKY (and its legal advisers) before the website is published.
Entry requirements change and are set by the Egyptian authorities, not by us. Always check the current rules with the Egyptian embassy or consulate in your country, or with your own government’s travel advice, before you book flights. What follows is a checklist, not legal advice.
Passport and visa
Most visitors need a passport valid well beyond their return date and a visa to enter Egypt. Requirements differ by nationality and change from time to time. [Client to confirm the guidance shown here with a local adviser, and update it when rules change.]
At check-in
Please bring the passport of every guest. We are required to record guest details on arrival. [Client to confirm exactly what identification is required and what must be registered with the authorities.]
Getting here
Hurghada International Airport (HRG) is 18 kilometres north of the bay, around half an hour by road. Send us your flight details in advance and we will arrange your pick-up and return at normal rates, so there is no negotiating with drivers after a long flight.
Travel insurance
We recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation, medical costs and any activities you plan, including diving. Our cancellation terms are published in full on the booking terms page.
Money and practicalities
The currency is the Egyptian pound. Cards are widely accepted inside the resort, and there are cash machines nearby. [Client to confirm what is useful to add here.]
